It’s been quite some time since I’ve written a post, but I’m so happy to be back! I’m sure you all know how stressful and overwhelming life can get sometimes and how QUICKLY it can go by. That’s why receiving complimentary gifts from your friends at Influenster every now and then is always such an exciting relief.

I recently received the Marc Jacobs Beauty Accomplice Concealer & Touch-Up Stick from Influenster and while I admit that I was initially not too excited to try a stick concealer, I am so happy I have this now. I normally use liquid concealers, as they don’t dry my skin out and don’t leave me looking flaky or patchy. Thankfully, Marc Jacobs has presented a stick concealer that actually works for me though!

This formula is incredibly smooth and does not cake up or leave my skin looking dry what-so-ever. The coverage, while not as full as I would like it to be over blemishes, is lightweight and blends easily. I don’t normally wear foundation, as my skin is not where I would like it to be, so finding a full coverage concealer is very important to me. This is just a personal preference though and all based off my own skin type. For areas that are not breaking out, this concealer gets a complete 10/10 from me.

I received the shade ‘Fair 10’, which is the lightest shade out of the 17 currently available (yikes, I am pastier than I thought). Marc Jacobs hits low in shade options compared to other brands like ColourPop’s No Filter Matte Concealer in 30 shades or Makeup Revolution’s Conceal & Define in 24 shades, but still offers a reasonable range of colors for different skin tones.

You can find this concealer for $32 at Sephora and other makeup retailers. The price is way too steep for my liking though, so I’ll be sticking with my Makeup Revolution Conceal & Define, until something better comes along around a reasonable price point. What concealers are your favorite currently?
