Winter is finally over and I just spent the last few months hibernating, stuffing my face with food and binge watching 17 different shows on Netflix. Well, now it’s April and you all must be thinking the same thing I am right now… I AM NOT READY FOR THE BEACH!!!
I’ve been experimenting with low carb meals, more fruits and veggies, and more water the last few weeks, but that won’t be enough. My biggest issue is heading to the gym. I’m pretty sure I paid Planet Fitness $20/month for two years so I could stay at home to NOT workout.
Finding the motivation to go to the gym can be really difficult and picking up some dollar-menu items at McDonald’s is so much easier than cooking a whole meal. If you’re like me and don’t enjoy feeling like Jabba the Hut after some fast food, try practicing these quick workouts to help you get SOME exercise in your day:
- 2 sets of 25 sumo squats
- 2 sets of 50 ab bikes
- 2 sets of 20 side lunges (2 sets per leg)
- 2 sets of 20 fire hydrants (2 sets per leg)
Just a quick disclaimer: I definitely do not do this myself, BUT I’m going to challenge myself to these daily. I’m challenging you to do some at home workouts too.
